BLEACH fans in the United States will be able to watch the first three episodes of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity in theaters before the anime begins its official broadcast and streaming release.
VIZ Media and Fathom Entertainment announced a special theatrical premiere event taking place nationwide from June 25 to June 29, 2026. Both subtitled and English-dubbed screenings will be available at participating theaters.
The final season is scheduled to begin airing in July 2026.

In addition to the episodes, the event will feature an exclusive behind-the-scenes discussion with BLEACH creator Tite Kubo, chief series director Tomohisa Taguchi, and series director Hikaru Murata.
As the final season of the Thousand-Year Blood War anime adaptation, The Calamity is one of the most anticipated anime releases of 2026. The BLEACH franchise remains one of the most influential shonen series of all time, alongside NARUTO and ONE PIECE.
Tickets are now on sale through Fathom Entertainment and participating theater box offices.
Fans can also purchase a Fandango-exclusive bundle for $29.99, which includes one movie ticket and one randomly selected exclusive production artwork sheet from a set of three collectible designs created for the theatrical release.

The Royal Guard Squad Zero confronts Yhwach as he attempts to enter the Royal Palace. However, the Quincy King and his Royal Guard shatter Squad Zero’s powerful Bankai and finally steps into the Reio Greater Palace.
Ichibe Hyosube entrusts Ichigo Kurosaki and his allies to protect the Soul King, but due to Yhwach’s trickery, Ichigo cuts down the Soul King with his sword.
The death of the Soul King mirrors the collapse of the Three Worlds, as distortions and omens of destruction start to appear in all realms.
The Thirteen Court Guard Squads join forces with the surviving Quincies and head for the Royal Palace, but it’s fallen under the control of the Wandenreich, who have transformed it into the Wahr Welt. The Royal Guard wait for them within the castle, ominously towering against the sky.
Fierce battles then erupt throughout the Wahr Welt between the Thirteen Court Guard Squads and the Royal Guard. Ichigo learns about Uryu’s true intentions and renews his determination to protect the world together, as friends who trust each other.
