Futabasha and author Tobirano announced that the Betrothed to my Sister’s Ex novels will receive a TV anime adaptation in 2025.

Chikage Nakagura launched a manga adaptation on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website in July 2020. The manga’s seventh volume was published on April 10. Comico’s English website Pocket Comics is publishing the manga under the title Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex.
The novel debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in October 2019, with Futabasha publishing the light novels with illustrations by Mai Murasaki since April 2020. The seventh volume was released on May 10.
