The webtoon The Remarried Empress, based on the work by Alphatart, will receive a TV anime adaptation in 2027. TROYCA is in charge of animation production, with the anime set to stream on Crunchyroll in 2027.
HAYATE, an anime production company jointly established by Aniplex and Crunchyroll, is also involved in the production.
To celebrate the announcement, the original creators of the webtoon shared newly drawn illustrations featuring handwritten congratulatory messages.
