To celebrate ATTACK ON TITAN DAY on September 9, a total of 99 major announcements related to Attack on Titan have been revealed at once. Among them is a brand-new commemorative illustration drawn by series creator Hajime Isayama, featuring Eren and Levi.
Attack on Titan was serialized from 2009 to 2021 and has sold more than 140 million copies worldwide. September 9 was officially recognized as ATTACK ON TITAN DAY by the Japan Anniversary Association, marking the date the manga began serialization in the first issue of Kodansha‘s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.

The previously announced 99-hour limited free release of 99 episodes of the anime has also begun on Magapoke. Commemorative merchandise, including T-shirts featuring the special “9/9” logo, is also now available through the magazine’s official shop.
The official Attack on Titan YouTube channel was also launched on ATTACK ON TITAN DAY. A special live stream will begin at 9:30 PM JST, featuring voice actors Yuki Kaji (Eren), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa), and Hiro Shimono (Connie).
In addition, Attack on Titan Part 1 -Guren no Yumiya- will return to Japanese theaters on October 23, 2026. Attack on Titan THE LAST ATTACK will also be screened in 2027 in SCREEN X, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX formats.
Meanwhile, Attack on Titan 3, the upcoming game from KOEI TECMO GAMES, has unveiled its opening animation key visual. The opening animation is being produced by MAPPA, and the game is scheduled to release on December 10, 2026.
