Bandai Namco Filmworks has announced that MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM ZERO will take center stage at New York Comic Con 2026.
A special GUNDAM Showcase 2026 @ NYC – SEED FREEDOM ZERO Panel will take place on Thursday, October 8, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM EDT on the Main Stage.
Fans will be among the first to learn more about the upcoming prequel to MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM, which became the highest-grossing Gundam film in Japan following its release in January 2024. The panel will also feature special guests, latest Gundam news, upcoming initiatives, and exclusive fan experiences.
The latest SEED FREEDOM ZERO announcements will also be livestreamed worldwide on GUNDAM CHANNEL INTL starting at 3:45 PM EDT on October 8.
Attendees can also receive various Gundam giveaways, including a T-shirt, a Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO poster, a promotional Gundam Card Game card, a Gunpla shopping bag, and a Gundam introduction book:
New York Comic Con 2026 will take place from October 8 to 11 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM ZERO is the newest addition to the Gundam SEED series and serves as the prequel to MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED FREEDOM, the theatrical film that opened Jan. 26, 2024, and became the highest-grossing theatrical release in Gundam history in Japan.
