San Diego FC has announced a new partnership with VIZ Media for the globally popular soccer manga and anime series Captain Tsubasa.
As part of the collaboration, San Diego FC will celebrate Captain Tsubasa during its 2026 Baja Cup match against Club Tijuana on September 16.
Fans will be able to purchase a special Captain Tsubasa Ticket Package, which includes a ticket to the match and an exclusive limited-edition Captain Tsubasa scarf.
This partnership makes San Diego FC the first Major League Soccer club to partner with VIZ Media for Captain Tsubasa.
More details about the partnership and the matchday celebration will be announced at a later date
