A concept visual for HAIKYU!! The Movie: VS Little Giant, based on an original concept by Haruichi Furudate, has been released. The match begins in 2027!
By focusing on Karasuno vs. Kamomedai, and Hinata vs. Hoshiumi, the film will finally bring to life “the battle of the little giants,” which is a core element of the original manga.
Concept Visual:
A collaboration between the anime HAIKYU!! and the Emut presents SV.LEAGUE ALL STAR GAMES 2026-27 HOKKAIDO has also been announced. Ayumu Murase, the voice of Shoyo Hinata, appeared at the event.
The collaboration will include newly recorded audio, character photo spots, and a special costume greeting event.
Next up for Shoyo Hinata and his team, who have advanced to the Spring High quarter-finals, is a match against Kamomedai, featuring Korai Hoshiumi. Hoshiumi shares the same nickname as the “Little Giant,” the player Hinata once admired. At last, the key matches from the original story—Karasuno versus Kamomedai and Hinata versus Korai Hoshiumi—take center stage.

Crunchyroll is streaming all four TV anime seasons of the HAIKYU!! adaptation and describes the series as follows:
Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.
