Toei Animation is celebrating its 70th anniversary after being founded on July 31, 1956. To mark the milestone, the studio launched a special anniversary website featuring a commemorative video looking back at its long history and iconic anime.

The company has produced hundreds of anime series and films over the past seven decades, including beloved franchises such as Dragon Ball, ONE PIECE, Pretty Cure, GeGeGe no Kitaro, and Galaxy Express 999.
The studio also announced that July 31 has been officially recognized as “Toei Animation Day” in Japan, celebrating the company’s contribution to the animation industry.
