DIGIMON Anime Announces Special Broadcast Featuring Top Fan-Selected Episodes

A new DIGIMON special program titled “The Best Adventure We Chose” will air on Fuji TV starting October 4. The program will feature some of the most popular episodes from four Digimon anime series: DIGIMON Adventure, DIGIMON Adventure 02, DIGIMON Tamers, and DIGIMON Frontier.

The episodes were selected through the “World’s Choice of Best Episodes of 4 Digimon Anime Series” fan voting project, which allowed Digimon fans from around the world to choose their favorite episodes.

The voting results were revealed on August 1, while more details about the broadcast will be announced at a later date:

The artists for the opening theme of “The Best Adventure We Chose“ have been announced. The song will be performed by Ayumu Miyazaki, known for singing the insert song “brave heart” from DIGIMON Adventure, and Takayoshi Tanimoto, who performed “One Vision” from DIGIMON Tamers.

The lyrics and music are written by Hiroshi Yamada and Michihiko Ota, who have both contributed to many Digimon songs. Yamada wrote lyrics for several Digimon tracks, including “Break up! & Beat Hit!” from DIGIMON Adventure 02 and the opening theme “FIRE!!” from DIGIMON Frontier. Ota has also worked as a composer on opening and insert songs across the Digimon franchise.

A new DIGIMON anime project is scheduled for 2027:

DIGIMON, which started with the Digital Monster LCD toy released on June 26, 1997, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2027. To mark this special milestone, the “Digimon 30th Anniversary Project” has officially launched.

The first event of the anniversary project is a worldwide voting campaign called “World’s Choice of Best Episodes of 4 Digimon Anime Series” where fans can vote for their favorite episodes from four Digimon anime series.

The latest TV anime entry in the franchise, DIGIMON BEATBREAK, has been airing in Japan since October 5, 2025. The series continues the long-running Digimon legacy with a brand-new story for fans around the world.
