BanG Dream! Ave Mujica Film Reveals First Trailer, Premieres October 16 in Japan

The first trailer for BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora has officially been released, along with a premiere date of October 16 in Japan. The film marks the first theatrical anime for the band Ave Mujica, nearly a year after its initial announcement.

It was also reaffirmed that the sequel TV anime to BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica – The Die is Cast – is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.

The best way to fit in at a new school? Start a band! Anon has just transferred to Haneoka Girls’ Academy where girl bands are all the rage. But she started school late, so there aren’t many girls left to recruit. Then she meets her first friend and Haneoka’s misfit, Tomori, who’s hesitant to join. Still, Anon is determined to persuade Tomori and experience the true power of friendship and music.

Ave Mujica – The Die is Cast anime is describes as follows:

Sakiko Togawa, whose stage name is Oblivionis, created the band Ave Mujica by personally recruiting its members. Alongside Uika Misumi as Doloris, Mutsumi Wakaba as Mortis, Umiri Yahata as Timoris, and Nyamu Yutenji as Amoris, the band has performed to great commercial success. Now Sakiko wonders why she should shoulder the responsibility of keeping the band going.
