The TV anime adaptation of Daken’s light novel “Exiled Merchant Saves the World with the Power of Money” has officially been announced. The first anime character designs for the main characters, including Trao, Rio, Lilith, and Dominique, have also been revealed.
In addition, a manga adaptation illustrated by Sen Higashiyama and written by Masahiro Itosugi has started serialization today, July 31, on the web manga platform Comic PASH!neo.
Character Designs:
The story follows Trao, a merchant and member of the S-rank adventurer party Blue Ring. He is expelled from the group after being accused of secretly using his money to support his junior female adventurers, the members of Party Garnet, while forcing his own teammates to save their money.
After leaving Blue Ring, Trao joins Party Garnet and sets out on a journey to defeat the Demon Lord. However, their first mission is to retrieve the equipment left behind by the fallen members of Blue Ring, who were defeated before reaching the Demon Lord.
