The official YouTube channel for THE IDOLM@STER has released a special seven-minute video titled “THE IDOLM@STER 20th Anniversary ‘Thank You’ PV.”
The video celebrates the franchise’s 20th anniversary by looking back at the various projects and events held since the anniversary campaign began in July 2024, while also featuring heartfelt messages from fans.

Originally launched as an arcade game in 2005, THE IDOLM@STER has grown into one of Japan’s most popular multimedia franchises, expanding into video games, anime, music, live events, and mobile titles. The franchise includes THE IDOLM@STER, Cinderella Girls, Million Live!, SideM, SHINY COLORS, and Gakuen Idolm@ster.
The anime adaptation of The Idolmaster: Shiny Colors draws inspiration from its namesake game, initially released as a browser game on the enza website in April 2018. It later expanded its reach by launching as a mobile game for iOS and Android devices in March 2019. In the game, players assume the role of a budding producer at 283 Production, entrusted with the task of nurturing and managing a diverse array of idols.
