Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Witch on the Holy Night Anime Join Tokushima’s Awa Odori Festival

Ufotable unveils new festival artwork.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Witch on the Holy Night will take part in the Awa Odori Festival in Tokushima, Japan, this August.

To celebrate the collaboration, ufotable has revealed new illustrated posters featuring characters from both series. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba visual includes Tanjiro Kamado and other members of the Demon Slayer Corps, while the Witch on the Holy Night visual features Aoko Aozaki and other characters.

The Awa Odori Festival will be held across Tokushima City from August 11 to 15.

On August 14 at 1:30 PM, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will host a special dance performance with the “Demon Slayer Group.” Voice actors Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma) and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke Hashibira) will appear, alongside mascot versions of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Giyu Tomioka, and Shinobu Kocho.

A special stamp rally will also be available to celebrate both titles. Fans can collect stamps featuring new and past Awa Odori illustrations from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, as well as artwork from other TYPE-MOON and ufotable projects, including The Garden of Sinners. Visitors who collect all the stamps will receive a special illustrated card. More details will be shared later on ufotable’s official X account.
