The TV anime DREAMLAND, based on the original manga by French creator Reno Lemaire, will premiere this October in Japan. It will air nationwide on the ABC TV and TV Asahi network during the ANiMAZiNG!!! programming block.
The series will be broadcast as a fully localized Japanese version featuring a Japanese voice cast. More details, including the Japanese voice cast, will be revealed at a later date.
DREAMLAND has been a beloved cult shonen manga in France for many years, with more than 800,000 copies in circulation. The manga was released in Japan in October 2024, while the anime adaptation was first announced in summer 2022.
The series is a France-based co-production between ADN, La Chouette Compagnie, and Ellipse Animation.

Ever since his mother died in a fire, Terrence has secluded himself in an emotionless world.
He goes through his daily teenager life apathetically… with one exception! The simple sight of a flame plunges him into a world of fear, an awaken version of his nightmares – for, every time he falls asleep, he helplessly relieves the tragic event, thus rekindling his pyrophobia. Until that one night he can’t bear it anymore and stops running away from the devilish flames. Little does he know that, by doing so, he overcame his greatest fear and became a Traveler: a very special kind of Dreamer, able to explore Dreamland, the dimension born from mankind’s dreams… and nightmares!
