Girls und Panzer das Finale Part 5 Drops First Main Trailer Ahead of October 9 Release

The first key visual and the first full trailer for Girls und Panzer das Finale Part 5 have been officially released. The highly anticipated fifth installment of the film series will open in Japanese theaters on October 9.

It has also been confirmed that the official spin-off anime Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! will premiere in October. The series will additionally receive a four-part theatrical release across Japan starting in December 2025.

Directed by Masami Shimoda and produced by P.A. Works and Actas, the project adapts the spin-off manga of the same name written by Maruko Nii.

Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! – INTRODUCTION:
The focus is on the unknown everyday lives and interactions between schools of the students who passionately pursue Sensha-do (Tankery), including the Oarai Girls’ High School team and their delightful peers!

This is the start of a grand strategy that will make you love them even more!

Furthermore, the Girls und Panzer 10th Anniversary Cinematic Concert has been announced. The event will feature a live screening of the anime accompanied by a performance from the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. Ticket lottery applications open today, June 28.

GIRLS und PANZER first debuted as a TV anime in 2012, followed by the feature film GIRLS und PANZER der Film in 2015. The Das Finale project has been rolling out gradually in Japanese theaters: Part 1 premiered in December 2017, Part 2 in June 2019, Part 3 in March 2021, and Part 4 in October 2023. Part 5 will continue the long-running cinematic saga as it moves closer to its conclusion.
