CHOCOLATE Inc.’s Babies of Bread Unveils its Cast and Second Trailer ahead of its July 4 debut

The cast of the original anime Babies of Bread has been revealed alongside its second teaser trailer. The series is set to premiere on July 4 as part of the “What’ll We Do on Saturday?!” program on Kansai TV and Fuji TV.

Babies of Bread follows the charming adventures of tiny bread babies living their everyday lives. Originally released as a CG animated short on YouTube and social media in December 2024, the project gained attention for its cute and whimsical world.

For the TV adaptation, Dwarf Studio (AOI Pro.) joined the production as a cooperating studio. The series also shifts from CG animation to a handcrafted “time-lapse” animation style, bringing a warmer and more tactile feel to the characters. Featuring entirely original episodes, the TV series expands the universe of the bread babies with more expressive storytelling and heartwarming daily adventures.
