The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for the Throne Anime Premieres on July 6, Reveals Key Visual and New Trailer

Yuuji Yanase directs the series at MAHO FILM.

The TV anime The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for the Throne is set to begin broadcasting on July 6 on TOKYO MX and BS Fuji. Alongside the announcement, a key visual and the second promotional video have been revealed, as well as details about the opening and ending theme songs.

The opening theme is “Script” by the dance and vocal group BUDDiiS, while the ending theme, “Suteki na Kanchigai”, is performed by the four-member idol group Class in Wonderland.

The original The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne light novel began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in February 2019. Kadokawa Shoten publishes the print edition in Japan under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint, with 15 volumes released so far. The series is written by Tanba and illustrated by Yuunagi.

Kadokawa also publishes an English digital version of the light novel and provides a description of the story:
