The main trailer and final key visual for Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 2 have been released. The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on September 11, 2026. Produced by Kyoto Animation, the movie will conclude the long-running Sound! Euphonium series.
In addition, a special Sound! Euphonium, The Final Movie Part 1 & Part 2 panel will be held at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles on July 3. Chief Director Tatsuya Ishihara will attend the event and share exclusive stories and footage from the upcoming film.

INTRODUCTION:
The series finally reaches its grand finale. This journey becomes the next piece of music— For over a decade, the Sound! Euphonium series has portrayed the youth of high school students devoted to the concert band. Following the emotional conclusion of Sound! Euphonium 3, which aired in 2024, the story returns to theaters in 2026 as the definitive final chapter, “The Final Movie.”
For this Final Movie, Tatsuya Ishihara, who has led Kyoto Animation’s production team for the past 10 years, serves as Chief Director, while Taichi Ogawa, who has been a key figure throughout the series, takes on the role of Director. In addition to refined animation throughout the film, Jukki Hanada has newly written the screenplay, and numerous new scenes have been added. The film also features performance sequences not depicted in the TV series, making it a theatrical work truly worthy of its title as the “Final Chapter,” brought to life by the entire staff.
A decade-long journey—moving beyond. The curtain rises on the final year, the culmination of the Sound! Euphonium anime series.
