The main promotional video for the TV anime Hono no Tokyujo: Dodge Danko, based on the original work by Tetsuhiro Koshita, has been released.
It has also been announced that the opening theme will be “Kaishin no Ichigeki” by Momoiro Clover Z, while the ending theme will be “Welcome to Azatosa World” by i☆Ris. The series is scheduled to premiere on July 6.

The original Hono no Tokyuji: Dodge Danpei was a manga series that ran in Shogakukan’s CoroCoro Comic magazine from 1989 to 1995. It was later adapted into a 47-episode anime series, which aired starting in October 1991. The franchise also inspired several video games.
A sequel manga, titled Dodge Danpei: Dodge Danko, has been published online on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website since November 2022.
