The TV anime The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for the Throne has revealed two new cast members ahead of its July premiere. Yuki Kuwahara will voice Christa Lake Adler, while Masahiko Tanaka joins the series as Sebastian.

The original The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne light novel began serialization on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in February 2019. Kadokawa Shoten publishes the print edition in Japan under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint, with 15 volumes released so far. The series is written by Tanba and illustrated by Yuunagi.
Kadokawa also publishes an English digital version of the light novel and provides a description of the story:
