Two popular Japanese anime series, Detective Conan and Star Detective Precure!, are working together in a special crossover event.
In this collaboration, Conan Edogawa will appear in episode 18 of Star Detective Precure!, titled “Meitantei no Assemble”. This episode will air in Japan on May 31. In return, Cure Answer will appear in a new episode of Detective Conan called “Hanamaru na Answer”, which will be broadcast on June 6.

The Pretty Cure franchise, also known as Precure, launched with its first series, Futari wa Pretty Cure, in February 2004. Its 21st installment, Wonderful Precure!, premiered on Crunchyroll in February 2024. The 22nd and latest entry in Toei Animation’s long-running magical girl saga, You and Idol Precure♪, debuted in Japan on February 2, 2025.

Middle school student Uta Sakura loves to sing any chance she gets. But music becomes more than a hobby when she meets Purirun, a fairy whose hometown has plunged into darkness. The Chokkiri Gang took over her land and began stealing her people’s sparkle.
