The first 12 minutes of the theatrical film Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway by Gosho Aoyama will be broadcast for the first time on NTV’s Friday Road Show on May 22.
The movie has been showing in theaters across Japan since April 10. It recorded the biggest opening weekend in the history of the Detective Conan movie series, attracting 2.31 million viewers during its first three days. By May 6, the film had already surpassed 10 billion yen at the Japanese box office.
On May 22, NTV’s Friday Road Show will air Minions Fever. After the movie, viewers will also be able to watch the first 12 minutes of Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway completely uncut.

Gosho Aoyama‘s Detective Conan manga, known as Case Closed in English by Viz Media, debuted in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994. As of October 2024, the series spans 106 tankōbon volumes. The anime adaptation premiered in 1996, followed by the release of the first anime film in 1997.
