A new clip from The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE -Yotsuba Succession Arc-, part of the main storyline, was released on April 28 to celebrate “Yotsuba Day”. The film is directed by Jimmy Stone and produced by Eightbit, with its theatrical premiere in Japan scheduled for May 8.
New Clip:
Starting on opening day, moviegoers will receive a special bonus on a first-come, first-served basis: a mini colored paper-style card illustrated by Kana Ishida. There are three different designs available, distributed randomly.
In addition, attendees will receive an exclusive novel written by the original author, Tsutomu Sato, available from the first through the fourth week of screenings. The cover illustration for the first-week bonus novel, titled The Irregular at Magic High School: UFO Interception, has also been revealed.
Special stage greeting events will take place on May 16 at several theaters: Yokohama Burg 13 in Kanagawa, Kawasaki Cinecitta, and Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo. The Yokohama and Kawasaki events will feature Saori Hayami, Chiwa Saito, and Daisuke Ono, while the Shinjuku event will welcome Hayami, Saito, and Ai Kayano.
Advance lottery ticket sales are available via Ticket Pia from April 28 to May 10.

Based on the light novel by Tsutomu Sato, The irregular at magic high school is set in a world where magic exists but instead of using chants and spells, magic users cast spells with their Casting Assistant Device (CAD). The CAD is infused with the user’s Psions (a substance-less thought particle) that activates the device and constructs the magic ritual.
