Akane-banashi TV Anime Premieres on April 4, Unveils Second PV and Key Visual

A passionate and authentic Rakugo drama!

The opening theme song for the TV anime Akane-banashi, based on the manga by Yuki Suenaga and Takamasa Moue, has been officially announced. The theme, titled “HITOTARASHI”, is a brand-new song written and composed by Keisuke Kuwata. The anime is set to begin broadcasting on April 4.

This marks the first time Kuwata has handled both the lyrics and composition for an anime theme song. He also took part in voice dubbing for the project. A special collaboration video titled “Keisuke Kuwata × TV Anime Akane-banashi Special Anime Video” has been released, featuring newly created anime footage.

In addition, the second key visual and the second promotional video have been revealed. Fans can already hear a preview of “HITOTARASHI” in the newly released PV.

【Special Announcement】Kuwata Keisuke × TV Anime “Akane-banashi” Special Anime Video

To celebrate the announcement, a special illustration of Keisuke Kuwata was unveiled, depicting him in a kimono while holding his guitar:

An official Akane-banashi Global YouTube Channel has also launched. The channel will stream the latest promotional videos in multiple languages and will offer full episodes for free to fans in North America and Latin America after the series begins airing in Japan.
