Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary Anime Drops Second Main Trailer, Confirms Additional Voice Actors

Yuritaro’s series reveals premiere date.

The TV anime Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary, based on Yuritaro’s work, is scheduled to premiere on January 11, 2026. Additional cast members have been revealed, including Tomoyuki Morikawa, Mamiko Noto, Haruka Tomatsu, and Yoshiko Sakakibara. A second main promotional video has also been released.

The story centers on Kaya, a well-known troublemaker in her kindergarten class, and her teacher, Chie, who has been asked to keep a close eye on her. One day, Kaya unexpectedly pushes her friend off the swing. While it appears to be a cruel act, it turns out that Kaya possesses a secret ability to see spirits.
