The fifth volume of the Majutsu wo Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyo de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru manga (release on November 28) has revealed that the series is receiving a TV anime adaptation. Further details including staff, cast, and a release window have yet to be announced.

Originally written by Monsho Sakakibara as a web novel, the fantasy story was later published as a light novel by Grast Novels in 2022 with illustrations by Hatori Kyoka. The manga adaptation by kanco has been serialized through Grast Comics since 2023.
The story follows a man reincarnated as an elf with a 1,000-year lifespan who, determined not to waste his second chance, sets out to become a “living legend.”
