The upcoming TV anime HOPPECHAN -Mystery of the Sun Kingdom and the Black-Cheek Team- has released its first promotional video, confirming that the series will officially debut in January 2026. The opening theme song will be EXILE B HAPPY‘s “Hope & Jump (feat. Crystal Kay).”

The anime follows two stories:
- In the magical Sun Kingdom, a Hoppe-chan with no memories joins a fight against dark, “uncute” slimes.
- In the real world, a tired office worker named Hoho feels lost and sad.
As the story goes on, these two worlds will begin to connect.
