Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 Anime’s “Shikaku” Wins Audience Prize at Bucheon 2025

“Shikaku” a short from the upcoming Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 anime anthology, won the Audience Prize in the short film category at the 2025 Bucheon International Animation Festival.

Directed by Naoya Ando and based on Fujimoto‘s one-shot, the story follows a young assassin whose latest job is more complicated than it seems. The short is produced by GRAPH77, with character designs and animation supervision by MYOUN, and stars Kana Hanazawa and Tomokazu Sugita.

Part 1 and Part 2 of Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 are currently screening in major Japanese theaters until October 30. The anime will be available exclusively on Prime Video starting November 8, following its theatrical run.
