100 METERS Anime Film x OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM “Rashisa” Collaboration MV Unveiled

The highly anticipated film 100 METERS debuts in Japanese theaters tomorrow, September 19, with a powerful new theme song to mark the occasion. The track, titled “Rashisa” by Official HIGE DANDism, has just been released alongside a full music video now available on YouTube.

Following its Japanese release, international audiences won’t have to wait long. GKIDS will bring 100 METERS to North American theaters beginning October 10 with limited screenings, before expanding nationwide from October 12–14.

Anime Ltd and PLAION Pictures announce their acquisition of the film 100 METERS for distribution in both the UK and France. More details soon.

GKIDS describes 100 METERS as follows:

100 METERS follows Togashi, a track star who is born to run. As a kid, he is naturally gifted and wins every 100-meter race without effort. But in sixth grade, he meets Komiya, a transfer student who is full of determination but lacks technique. In teaching him, Togashi gives Komiya a new purpose: to win no matter what. Years pass by, and Togashi and Komiya meet again as rivals on the track and reveal their true selves.
