Junji Ito’s legacy continues to grow!

Junji Ito, the master of modern horror manga, has been inducted into the Eisner Awards Hall of Fame, solidifying his legacy ahead of the 2025 Will Eisner Comic Awards ceremony happening tonight.

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Ito has continually redefined the horror genre in manga. His latest projects include Adult Swim’s Uzumaki and the upcoming Junji Ito Crimson. VIZ Media, who publishes most of his translated works, shared their congratulations and described him as one of the greatest horror artists of all time.
