A brand-new teaser visual and promotional video have been unveiled for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of The Ghost in the Shell, based on Masamune Shirow’s original manga. The reveal also showcases the series’ newly redesigned logo. The highly anticipated anime is set to premiere in 2026.

Director Mokochan, known for serving as assistant director on the TV anime DAN DA DAN and contributing to Netflix’s Scott Pilgrim Takes Off as well as the acclaimed anime The Heike Story, takes the helm for the first time in their directorial debut.
Since Masamune Shirow published the original “Ghost in the Shell” comic in 1989 in “YOUNG MAGAZINE” (Kodansha), the series has continued to captivate and inspire audiences worldwide through various adaptations, including Mamoru Oshii‘s 1995 film “GHOST IN THE SHELL,” multiple anime series, and a Hollywood live-action film.
