Given The Movie: To the Sea is now streaming on Crunchyroll. It is the second of two sequel films continuing the story of the “Given” anime.
The first installment, titled Given The Movie: Hiiragi Mix, premiered in Japan on January 27, 2024. Crunchyroll later brought Given The Double Album: Hiiragi Mix & To the Sea to U.S. theaters for a special one-night-only screening on June 16, 2024.

After a chance encounter with the singer Mafuyu Sato, Ritsuka Uenoyama’s passion for music was reignited. Their band, Given, is on the path to greatness just as Mafuyu begins to question if he should be the group’s singer. After declining Ritsuka’s invitation to a concert in Shibuya, Mafuyu runs into an old friend. Could this be the sign Mafuyu needs to step up to the microphone once more?

That was until Ritsuka Uenoyama randomly met Mafuyu Sato. Ritsuka had started losing his passion for music in his everyday life, but then he hears Mafuyu sing for the first time. The song resonates with his heart and the distance between them starts to change.
