The TV anime SANDA, written by Paru Itagaki, is set to premiere on October 3. A second teaser trailer and new cast members have also been revealed alongside the broadcast details.
The anime will make its world premiere at Anime Expo 2025 on July 4, with a special panel featuring manga creator Paru Itagaki, director Tomohisa Shimoyama, and producer Kohei Sakita.

The story follows a boy named Sanda in a future with a declining birth rate, as he discovers his classmate plans to kill him due to a “curse” he carries.
The manga recently ended after launching in Weekly Shonen Champion magazine in July 2021. The 14th volume was released in Japan on June 7, 2024, with the 15th to follow on August 7.
