A TV anime adaptation of Sou Akaike‘s novel « Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord: Production Magic Turns a Nameless Village into the Strongest Fortified City » was announced today, April 20, during the Overlap Bunko event streamed on ABEMA.
Below are celebratory illustrations by light novel illustrator Kururi and manga adaptation artist Maro Aoiro.

The original light novel Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord is written by Sou Akaike and illustrated by Kururi. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Maro Aoiro, is also available. Both the light novel and manga are published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment, who describe the story as follows:
Van, fourth son of a marquis, is just a toddler when he realizes he’s been reincarnated.
