OSHI NO KO Manga Has Officially Ended!

Concludes after 4.5 years!

The popular manga【OSHI NO KO】by Akasaka Akasaka and Yokosaki Mengo concluded its 4.5-years serialization with the release of its final chapter in Weekly Young Jump Issue 50 on November 14. The series, which began in April 2020, will wrap up with Volume 16 (final), set to be published on December 18 in both standard and special editions.

【OSHI NO KO】vol. 16 standard & special editions:

Volume 16 of【OSHI NO KO】will be released in a special edition, featuring an exclusive 24-page bonus chapter that unveils “a certain truth.” This special edition includes a unique cover with foil accents, along with a collectible bookstand and stickers created by Akasaka and Yokoyari.


At 7 PM on November 14, Young Jump’s official YouTube channel, “Young Jump Manga TV,” will release a special commemorative video for【OSHI NO KO】. The video will revisit important moments from each arc, accompanied by a newly arranged version of “STAR☆T☆RAIN,” performed by the new B-Komachi in Episode 11 of the anime.

Please be advised that the video includes content from the final chapter, so viewers who have not read it should exercise caution.


A special fan site, “FAN ARENA,” will launch at 7 PM, offering fans the opportunity to share messages about their favorite characters and the series. As fans submit messages, downloadable wallpapers will be made available, with more being released as the number of messages increases. Additionally, a content “album” will be created, compiling the series from beginning to end.


The promotional event “【OSHI NO KO】: THE LAST STAGE in TOKYO DOME CITY” will take place at Tokyo Dome City in Tokyo from December 18 to January 13, 2025. Centered around the theme “The Dream Stage for All Idols,” the event will feature various【OSHI NO KO】characters displayed throughout the venue. At the main gate of Tokyo Dome, a special installation will showcase a video presentation, with fan-submitted messages presented in a live-performance style.

Additionally, the Ichigo Pro Public Relations community for【OSHI NO KO】has been launched, providing fans with a platform to engage with one another. Exclusive community merchandise will also be available for purchase.


A new manga series by Aka Akasaka has been announced for Weekly Young Jump, set to debut in spring 2025. This upcoming fantasy romance will feature a collaboration with artist Aoi Kujira and the four-artist team Ajichika, known for their work on Record of Ragnarok. The story will center around a romantic tale between a prince and princess in a magical realm.

The【OSHI NO KO】manga, written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, is published in Weekly Young Jump in Japan while Manga Plus digitally publishes the manga’s official English version.
