My Hero Academia Launches First Global Character Popularity Poll: My Hero Academia WORLD BEST HERO!

Who will be crowned the world’s best hero?

The manga “My Hero Academia” by Kohei Horikoshi has concluded with its final chapter in the double issue 36/37 of “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha), released on August 5. To celebrate this milestone, the first-ever global character popularity poll, “My Hero Academia WORLD BEST HERO” has been announced.

In addition, Shueisha has published an advertisement in the New York Times, with a message of gratitude from Horikoshi to his readers around the world in celebration of the manga’s conclusion:

Thank you for all the love and support for My Hero Academia! Seeing everyone enjoy the series was a joy for me as well. As you continue your daily lives, I hope you will fondly remember Deku and friends every now and then.
