The TV anime Yuri!!! on ICE is marking its 10th anniversary with new commemorative projects. A special 10th anniversary visual illustrated by character designer Tadashi Hiramatsu has been revealed. A large-scale exhibition is also planned for this winter.
10th Anniversary Visual:
A 10th anniversary Blu-ray & CD box set will be released on December 23. Additionally, special stickers were distributed at “Fantasy on Ice 2026 in Makuhari” (May 30–31), where posters featuring the anniversary visual were also displayed.
The original series aired from October to December 2016, directed and written by Sayo Yamamoto at MAPPA, with scripts by Mitsuro Kubo. Music was composed by Taro Umebayashi and Taku Matsushiba, and figure skating choreography was created by Kenji Miyamoto.
YURI!!! on ICE the Movie: ICE ADOLESCENCE was first announced in April 2017, with an initial 2019 release target revealed in 2018. The project was later delayed indefinitely in 2019. In 2020, the production team confirmed the film was still in development but provided no release date. In April 2024, the film was officially canceled.
Crunchyroll continues to stream YURI!!! on ICE, which follows figure skater Yuri Katsuki as he rebuilds his confidence and career after a major competitive setback, inspired by his coach Victor.
