The TV anime Yowayowa Teacher, based on the original work by Kamio Fukuchi, is set to premiere in April 2026. Marika Kono will voice Hiyori Hiwamura, while Kakeru Hatano will portray Akihito Abikura. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual has also been unveiled.

Kodansha has been serializing YOWAYOWA TEACHER, a manga by Kamio Fukuchi, in Weekly Shonen Magazine since November 2022.
The story centers around Akihito Abikura, a high school sophomore who is initially unnerved to learn that his new homeroom teacher is Hiyori Hiwarimura, a figure infamous for her intimidating reputation. However, Akihito soon realizes that Hiyori isn’t frightening at all—she’s just incredibly shy.
