A new light anime adaptation of You Don’t Know GUNMA Yet. ~Reiwa Version~ has been officially announced for a January 2026 premiere, marking the first-ever anime project produced by Japan’s Tetsudo Channel a platform known for its railway and travel-focused content. Created by Ida, the manga ran on Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website from October 2013 to May 2019, spanning 11 collected volumes. It was later adapted into a 12-episode anime short series that premiered in April 2018 and streamed on Crunchyroll.

The comedy manga follows Nori Kamitsuki, who moves from Chiba Prefecture to a fictional version of Gunma, a region northwest of Tokyo. Before relocating, Kamitsuki only knows Gunma through its notorious online reputation. However, once he arrives, he encounters locals deeply passionate about their unique culture.
