TV anime is set to premiere on February 2

The movie You and Idol Precure♪ is set to premiere in fall 2025 in Japan, as announced during Toei’s lineup presentation held today, January 16. The 22nd installment in the “Pretty Cure” TV anime series, You and Idol Precure♪, is scheduled to begin airing on February 2.

The Precure series, also known as Pretty Cure, began with its first installment, Futari wa Precure (Pretty Cure), in February 2004. Its 21st and current installment, Wonderful Precure!, premiered on Crunchyroll in February 2024.

In the Animal Town where humans and animals live together, Iroha who loves animals is very close to her dog Komugi! One day, a mysterious creature GaruGaru goes berserk in her city. In order to protect Iroha, Komugi transforms into a human and even Precure…!? We have to protect such berserk animals! Let’s join forces and return the animals to the Niko Garden!
