WIT STUDIO’s “Candy Caries” Gets TV Anime This April

Tomoki Misato direct the series at WIT Studio's TORUKU.

WIT STUDIO’s stop-motion anime project “Candy Caries” is getting a TV anime adaptation. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in April 2026. Candy Caries follows Ame, a sweet-loving girl, and Caries, the tooth decay that lives in her mouth.

Candy Caries” was first revealed in 2021 as a stop-motion anime promotional video. The PV was released to celebrate the launch of WIT STUDIO’s stop-motion animation studio and quickly attracted attention for its unique visual style.
