The manga Debu to Love to Ayamachi to! by Mama kari is set to be adapted into an anime. The manga, which started in 2019 and has seven digital volumes published by NTT Solmare, revolves around Yumeko, a young woman struggling with self-esteem and weight issues.

The story is about an ugly, fat girl who falls in love with a beautiful girl. One day, Yumeko, who has a massive complex, gets into a serious accident. She manages to survive, but when she wakes up she is a different person! ‘This is… me…? She’s super cute.
She is 180 degrees different from before, and those around her cannot hide their surprise and confusion… However, the environment is drastically changed by the super-positive Yumeko. Everyone has their own worries and complexes, and Yumeko takes them out from under the covers of each character!
