The TV anime TOUGEN ANKI will return with Season 2, titled the Nikko Kegon Falls Arc, on October 2, 2026. Additional cast members and a new key visual and promotional video have been released.
Before Season 2 begins, two special recap episodes will air:
- Kyoto Arc Recap: September 30 at 26:05 JST
- Nerima Arc Recap: October 1 at 26:05 JST
Additionally, the theme songs have been revealed. Hiromitsu Kitayama will perform the opening theme song, “BACKLASH”, while TRACK15 will perform the ending theme song, “Hand in Hand”. A preview of both songs can be heard in the new PV.

The bloodlines of “Oni” and “Momotaro” have been passed down among certain humans for generations. Long ago, the Oni, aware of their own ferocity, lived in seclusion. Over thousands of years, these two factions formed the “Momotaro Agency” and the “Oni Agency,” respectively, and have been locked in conflict ever since. The protagonist, Shiki Ichinose, suddenly learns of his Oni lineage following an unexpected attack by Momotaro.
