Toshiya Miyata of Kis-My-Ft2 will guest star as a voice actor in episode 141 of the TV anime Pokémon Horizons, airing June 19 in Japan. He will play the leader of the idol team Shining Oceans during a special crossover episode with Pokémon UNITE set on Aeos Island.
In the episode, the Rising Volt Tackers face off against Shining Oceans in a Unite Battle. Miyata’s character teams up with Sirfetch’d.

The latest series, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, introduces the franchise’s first completely new protagonists and originally premiered in Japan on April 14, 2023. It is directed by Saori Den and produced by OLM.
Internationally, the series debuted in English in the UK on BBC iPlayer in December 2023, followed by its North American release on Netflix on March 7, 2024. Its second season, Pokémon Horizons: The Search for Laqua, premiered on Netflix on February 7, 2025. Season 3, titled Pokémon Horizons: Rising Hope, began streaming on January 6, 2026.
