The « Tono to Inu » anime, created by Rihide Nishida, is set to premiere on October 10. A trailer has already been released. The theme song is « Little Lovers » by SUPER★DRAGON.
Each episode will feature four different versions of the Lord character, with varying portrayals. The anime will follow Japanese broadcast schedules:

The manga debuted with four chapters on Comic Polaris in March 2021 and began serialization in October 2021. Set in Japan’s Warring States period, it follows Tono, a former god of war now living in poverty, and the dog he adopts. Despite Tono’s struggles, the dog remains carefree and unruly. Three tankobon volumes have been released, with a fourth due on October 15, 2024.
