The TV anime adaptation of Tojima Tanzaburo Wants to Be a Kamen Rider, based on the original story by Yokusaru Shibata, is set to air in 2025. The announcement was made during a stage event at AnimeJapan 2025, held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo on March 23.
Alongside the news, a teaser visual, the first promotional video, as well as the main cast and staff details, were revealed.

Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider follows the story of Tojima Tanzaburo, a man in his 40s who has long dreamed of becoming a Kamen Rider. Just as he’s about to give up on his aspiration, he becomes caught up in a “fake shocker” robbery that grabs the public’s attention.
