The title of the anime film based on the short video series Toi-san from the original work by Jel of the VTuber boy band Strawberry Prince has been confirmed as Toi-san wa Seishun Shitai! Baka to Smartphone to Romance to. Along with the announcement, a teaser video titled « super special report » was also released, revealing the upcoming release date.
The film hits theaters in Japan on July 18, 2025. Jel performs the opening theme song « Mecchya Toi! feat. Jel & Toi-san »
