The TV anime Toaru Anbu no ITEM is set to premiere in fall 2026. Alongside the announcement, a teaser promotional video and character designs have been revealed. The series is a spin-off of the popular A Certain Magical Index franchise.
Additionally, during the stage event at AnimeJapan 2026 on March 28, to celebrate the anime adaptation, a special booklet introducing the original light novel will also be distributed free of charge.

Nilitsu is the illustrator of the ongoing light novel series, which began publication on March 10, 2023. Currently, the series has four volumes in print under Dengeki Bunko.
