The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep Coming to Netflix on February 11!

Humans, monsters and merpeople are about to collide!

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, a new animated series expanding the Witcher universe, is set to premiere on Netflix on February 11. The trailer and key visual have just been unveiled! The story takes place between Episodes 5 and 6 of Season 1 of The Witcher, drawing inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Little Sacrifice.

The cast features Doug Cockle, renowned for voicing Geralt in The Witcher 3, reprising his role as the White Wolf. Additionally, familiar faces from The Witcher live-action series, Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey, return to voice their characters, Yennefer and Jaskier, respectively.

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is written by series writers Mike Ostrowski and Rae Benjamin and produced by Lauren Schmidt HissrichKang Hei Chul, known for his work on The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, directs the film. Studio MIR is in charge for this series, a South Korean animation studio behind shows like The Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender.

Synopsis according to Netflix:
Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople. He must count on friends — old and new — to solve the mystery before the hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into an all-out war.
