The TV anime Luo Xiaogei Senki is the Japanese-dubbed version of the Chinese web anime originally released in 2011. The series, Luo Xiaohei Senki, was created by Chinese animation director MTJJ and produced by Haruka Hanki (HMCH) Studio.

The Legend of Luo Xiaohei tells the story of Xiaohei, a cat spirit who is rescued by a young girl named Luo Xiaobai. After losing his home, Xiaohei gradually learns to trust humans again.

Crunchyroll is also streaming the prequel film The Legend of Hei, which explores the world and characters in greater depth:

In bustling human world, various goblins live peacefully with mankind. Luo Xiao-Hei, the cat demon, begins his journey of wandering because his forest home is destroyed. With sympathetic goblin partners and earnest human master appearing one after another, Hei is in the dilemma of which side will be his true attribution.
